My last entry is on 16th of Mei 2011, a holly day for me as a teacher and an educator. It has been a while since my last entry. Can't state any reason for that. May be there are no interesting events that happened lately or maybe I failed to locate time to write.
Today is a public holiday in Terengganu. Thank you to Terengganu's Football Team for winning the FA Cup on 11th of June and Thank You to Terengganu's SUKMA Team for being the best team and winning the most gold medals. The Greatest THANK YOU to our beloved Menteri Besar for granting us the govenment servants, private servants and state servants an extra Public Holiday.
I know how proud Rakyat Terengganu is of their football and atheletic team. I was in SUKMA Tae Kwon Do team in 2006. Eventhough I was only the team's chaperone, the feeling of winning is so real. We won the first place in Tae Kwon Do after being trainned and coached by Master Shaik, Master Ramlan (to name a few) from Gemilang Tae Kwon Do Academy. I still remember the coaches broke down to tears upon winning the title.
Given an extra day to rest is a blessed for me and probably for all SMKP's employees after a week of hard work in preparing for Majlis Seminar Keibubapaan Sempena Hari Anugerah Kualiti Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Paka 2011 last Thursday. All in all, the event was OK.... with that being said, there are some areas that need to be improved.
Today's public holiday is also A Father's Day. My daughters plan to celebrate Father's Day at Secret Recipes, Mesra Mall. The funny thing is they only will contribute RM 10.00 each, two daughters - RM20.00. RM 20.00 only for one person's meal at Secret Recipes....hmmm I know, I know....Umi will automatically come to the rescue.
